 love taking this trip each year. We’ve been doing this with the children for the past… 8 years. Wow… time really flies…. My daughter Cameron and Me Any whooo, this annual trip reminds me of how important it is for me to treat myself to nature. As I’m taking my time down the mountains with the ipod and the wind, I’m transported to a head-space that is really magical. Yes, its cold. But I’ve learned to dress for it and to take long lunches with hot tea. I’m reminded of the majesty of natural settings and the power of Spirit. My encouragement for you is to take some time to find your connection with nature and remember – to slow down occassionally, embrace the beauty all around and enjoy your life!

What is your capacity for delight? How good can you stand it? Start to notice how many times you say, “Yeah, but…” – which is, in effect, cutting off the energetic flow.  Do you immediately diminish a compliment, “oh it was nothing”.  STOP THAT! 

Learn to accept blessings with grace.  The next time simply say, “thank you.”
