"Paris" in Vegas

Don’t I wish that the picture on the left was the real thing. I was in Las Vegas at a friend’s 50th birthday party. I’m not a gambler, so my Vegas recreation is hotel hopping, people watching, spas and shows.

Le Reve Show, c'est magnifique!

I have to admit, this picture was part of the inspiration for a new program I’ll be launching this summer called My Motivacation™6 Sensory Destination Adventures that Build Your Business by Nurturing Your Soul. I’m sooo excited. If you want to know more, visit this link MyMotivacation.com

As my work has evolved, I’m discovering what I consider to be the true key to business success…and it happens waaaayyy before you start with strategies and tactics…My feature article “Can’t move the needle on your revenues?” is for those of us who work so hard, care so much, but can’t seem to get traction. Often we’re trying to build in the wrong places.

The personal note, as always, comes from some personal experience I’ve had and this time, I’m learning to embrace all of me by not, “…fighting the funk

Please remember that I love to get your notes or messages. Let me know  what you’d like to see more of in the newsletter.

From,

Karyn and Elvis with Love!

Copper Mountain

I’m just back from skiing at Copper Mountain with my daughter (my son was in Costa Rica – lucky him) and my best friend and her kids. We

love taking this trip each year. We’ve been doing this with the children for the past… 8 years. Wow… time really flies…. My daughter Cameron and Me Any whooo, this annual trip reminds me of how important it is for me to treat myself to nature. As I’m taking my time down the mountains with the ipod and the wind, I’m transported to a head-space that is really magical. Yes, its cold. But I’ve learned to dress for it and to take long lunches with hot tea. I’m reminded of the majesty of natural settings and the power of Spirit. My encouragement for you is to take some time to find your connection with nature and remember – to slow down occassionally, embrace the beauty all around and enjoy your life!

On Thursday, March 19, 2009 I was invited to the White House by Mrs. Michelle Obama to celebrate Women’s History Month. As part of the celebration I was given the honor of participating in a small delegation of highly accomplished women that went out to talk to local area high schools. Our hope was that by sharing some of our own stories, challenges and triumphs, we might inspire these young people to live their best life! That evening we came back for a dinner at the White House with 100 very special young women; juniors and seniors all of whom had demonstrated leadership in academics, sports or service. It was indeed, a very special moment. I couldn’t think of a more perfect manifestation of my work!
