So many people are striving to be a unicorn - to stand out, to be seen, to be desired, to be incomparable but ironically we do it by trying to be more like her or him or them.

By birthright we emerge as unicorns but instead of embracing the divinity in that - standing out, being seen, being desired by those who are worthy of us, honoring our existing incomparability…we dismiss it.

In some ways our humanity has caged our divinity. We bond through sameness, and the trauma caused by seeking such - contracting and limiting our true dimensionality - instead of bonding through diversity and celebration of such. Think of a puzzle, each piece unique, bonding through unique connections, expanding to complete the whole picture.

Go ahead. Be different. Be you. We don’t have to seek unicorns - we already are…

From work that left her feeling…meh, to feeling

From work that left her feeling…meh, to feeling “on 🔥” with inspiration and impact…

Khyla had been feeling called to greater service and impact for a long time, but she couldn’t move forward because it wasn’t clear “what” she would move on to?

She was a certified project manager, performing well and working with people she liked, but the actual work left her feeling...meh.

There was no fire.

She was also the main person called on by her family to mediate, address, resolve... the family drama... and there seemed to always be drama.

Between her dedication to her work and family, and because she couldn’t see her “what” clearly with confidence, she kept doing what she had always done - a familiar routine.

What she didn’t know at the time, is that for purpose driven-people, clarity doesn’t start with “What”, it must begin with “You”.

As I do with everyone, we started Khyla’s UNSTUCK program with an exploration of her soul mission and her Dreamer Archetype - how she moves in her life toward her dreams.

She discovered that her archetype is the Dutiful Dreamer - someone motivated by a strong sense of responsibility towards others - which allowed us to identify her key motivations, challenges and actions for greater personal alignment.

In the end she clarified her mission which is to work with underserved communities by addressing food inequities. She was inspired to begin her path by exploring and engaging with urban gardens. She is now working on a nutritionally dense organic food product that she hopes to make available to underserved communities (and beyond) in the near future.

Wow… it just hit me that there is a reason to st

Wow… it just hit me that there is a reason to stop rejecting the notion of “not good enough”. It has been such a demon in the health and well-being of us humans. We’re so often plagued by the feeling of not good enough at work, or with our families or for that guy or that woman…

Well, you can now embrace “not good enough” because it’s the perfect filter for the things we allow into our lives - our orbit; to occupy our time, our space, or our energy.

Imagine…
“No, the way that you treat me is not good enough. I deserve more.” or

“No, the limited, powerless, lateral career move that you’re offering me is simply not good enough. I deserve better.” or

“No, the way that I’ve been treating myself, denying my heart, skirting my truth, is simply not good enough. I am worthy of living my life to the fullest.”

Go ahead and flip the script on “not good enough” make it a filter for allowing only the best and what you deserve into your life. Try this exercise, take 10 minutes and make a list of things you want to be better in your life then imagine yourself living better. Do this first thing in the morning for 3 days and let me know how your perspective and your life changes for the better.

Yep. Your dreams deserve a priority spot on the “to do” list because, guess what? The to-do list never dies…

There will always be things that feel like they should come first.
* Clean out the storage area… before you beautify the deck.
* Lose 20 pounds… before you book that vacation (and the sexy swimsuit)
* Agree to chair that committee…before you quit the board and honor the breathing room you’re craving.

Everybody has to-do lists, right?
But why do some people seem to be able to follow their dreams and live a truly satisfying life like…

* Launching a wellness center where women can go to de-stress and unapologetically drop the mask, or
* Learning the secrets of Mediterranean cooking by traveling to the Mediterranean and working with local chefs, or
* Finishing the book that is a testament to their family legacy…

While there are a variety of things that motivate people into taking action on their dreams, most of the time it’s a crisis or a trauma. Don’t wait until you’re backed into a corner. While it may seem like a “nice to do” it is actually a “need to do”, an urgency.

Here’s the method I’ve used and share with my clients.
1. SHAKE OFF WHATEVER GUILT you may feel about taking time “to do” you. You won’t improve your ranking on the list until you do this. (This is a decision. You must decide that you deserve a higher place on the list.)
2. Be willing to TEST the idea that the more grounded, whole and happy you are, the better you can avoid friction and burnout as you tackle that never-ending “to do” list.
3. DON’T WAIT FOR PERMISSION. If you’re waiting for your desires to be blessed by outsiders (work, friend, family) You may find yourself waiting a long time.

You deserve it.

Whatever your dreams are, you deserve them. Oh and that business idea you’re been toying with for…years? You deserve that too whether it’s part-time, full-time or a side-hustle.

Constant exploration is one of my dreams. That picture is of a volcanic eruption in Iceland just a few weeks ago. I feel alive when I travel imand I had to intentionally design it into my business. You can too.

Oh yes, dreaming is amazing - it releases all sorts of yummy chemicals into our systems that help lift our mood. But be careful, it can be a seductive, infinite, loop to no action.

What I’ve found with entrepreneurship is that it is a physical manifestation of my dreams and pathway to freedom - the freedom to unleash all those other dreams of mine - women’s empowerment and inspiration, travel, adventure, creativity, impact and so much more.

Here are a few facts:
* There’s never a PERFECT time to take action - so let that go.
* It’s never too late to honor your dreams and intentions - so let that go.
* You don’t have to be afraid of all the things that could go wrong - if you are driven by purpose - so step into that.

When you start with you, your purpose, intention and unique gifts and design the business from there, the clarity and momentum actually conserves your resources - you go farther with less effort because it is directed into aligned places. Starting with you removes doubt, confusion, and indecision. (Which is exhausting by the way.)

I know. At times, it can all feel like too much is

I know.
At times, it can all feel like too much is going on-nothing seems to be the way it used to be.

I believe there is an evolution occurring. Humanity is being asked to evolve. Take the next step. Choose kindness, collaboration, cooperation, love...

And we're being challenged on every front to choose this.

I spontaneously jumped on a plane to Iceland last week because I know that to calm my nervous system I need to explore and remember the world outside of my day-to-day. (Be sure to catch my recap video)

Some of you may be thinking, "Ah sure, that's great for you but I can't just jump on a plane and go..." But this is my point, we each have a way - things and behaviors that restore us.

What centers each of us is likely to be different - require a different combination of things. For me it's travel, but for you it may be baking or volunteering. Do you know what it is for you?
